John Deere 326E Troubleshooting
The John Deere 326E skid steer loader is powered by 202.5 cu.in (3.3L) Yanmar 4TNV98CT 4-cylinder turbocharged intercooled diesel engine with a rated power of 70 hp (52.5 kW) at 2500 rpm. The John Deere 326E is equipped with a vertical-lift loader boom, one-speed or two-speed hydrostatic transmission, 100HD drive chains, and 12.00x16.5 standard tires. The hydraulic system has a pump with fluid flow rate of 21 gpm (79.6 lpm) or 29 gpm (109.9 lpm). Battery won’t charge
Loose or corroded cable connections - Tighten or service connections.
Electrical terminal connectors are faulty - Replace terminal connectors.
Battery bad cell - Change the battery.
Loose or damaged belt - Adjust belt tension or replace belt.
Starter turning slow
Low battery output voltage - Battery needs to be recharged.
Battery will not hold charge - Service or change the battery.
Disconnected wiring or bad battery terminals - Check cable connections and replace or service terminals.
Starter doesn't crank
Battery is drained or worn - Change or recharge battery.
Battery cables are disconnected or incorrectly connected - Check cables and connect as needed.
Low battery capacity - Charge the battery.
Starter motor is faulty - Repair or replace starter.
