John Deere 3375 Troubleshooting

The John Deere 3375 skid steer loader is powered by 40.2 cu.in (0.7L) Yanmar 3TN66 3-cylinder indirect injection liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 17 hp (12.6 kW) at 3400 rpm. The John Deere 3375 is equipped with a single-speed hydrostatic transmission, radial-lift loader boom, heavy-duty drive chains, and 5.70x12 standard tires. Engine Troubleshooting

Engine starts up hard or doesn't start

Timing of fuel injection pump is incorrect - Adjust the pump as required.

Engine stalling at idle
Low idle speed setting is not correct - Correct the settings.
Defective fuel injection pump - Repair or replace injection pump.
Fuel injectors are dirty or defective - Clean or replace fuel injectors.
Valve out of adjustment - Adjust valve clearance according to specifications.

Engine power is insufficient
Dirty air cleaner - Clean or change cleaner.
Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged - Check and replace nozzles if required.
Fuel injection pressure is wrong - Adjust to proper pressure.
The valve clearance is incorrect - Adjust valve clearance according to specifications.

Starter does not work
